a stop
crossbuck and
boom barrier blinking
just in time

descends
in the disappearing distance the lovechild of desert sandstorm
pacific tsunami and Himalayan avalanche

on a choking horizon
vanishing
and yet
whilst sitting at the level crossing
watching for the train to pass and
the impending apocalypse arrive
a marvelous new universe
reveals itself
and as the saint perceives
time and
space
memory returns
and without a doubt
