Finding comfort in darkness

Sometimes,

in searching tirelessly for light

we completely overlook


finding comfort in darkness


in fact

within blackness

lies the utter depths

of silence


and within those

canyons of peace

lies such shimmering brilliance

that every infinitesimal spark

makes the noon day sun

shadow

in comparison


in fact

within the comfort of darkness

lies the prism through which God sees.
